Privacy Policy

Legal Evidence OS handles sensitive case records, and processes personal information under the principles of minimal collection, access control, and encryption.

0. Translation Notice

This English text is a courtesy translation. If there is any conflict between the Korean original and this translation, the Korean version prevails.

1. Personal Information Collected and How

At sign-up: name, email address, password (stored with one-way encryption).

While using the service (registered directly by the member): text materials such as case records, timelines, claims, and issues; evidence files; and information about related persons. Case materials may include third-party information to the extent entered by the member, and the member registering the materials is responsible for securing a lawful basis for its processing.

Lawyer members: affiliation and credential information (license number, bar association, credential evidence files).

Collected automatically: access logs, audit logs (record view/download history), and authentication-related information for security.

2. Purposes of Use

Providing the service (storing, displaying, and searching case records), account management and identity verification (including two-factor authentication), lawyer matching and review features, AI-assisted analysis and document drafting, security and abuse prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.

3. Notice on AI Processing

When using AI analysis, strategy reports, or complaint draft features, the case record metadata (text such as titles, descriptions, and timelines) is transmitted to and processed by the AI model provider (Anthropic) via API. Original evidence files themselves are not sent to the AI.

Transmitted data is used only to generate the results of the requested feature.

4. Retention and Destruction

Personal information is destroyed without delay upon membership withdrawal. However, information that applicable laws require to be preserved is stored separately for the required period and then destroyed.

Evidence files are stored in encrypted private storage (AWS S3); access is allowed only via short-lived signed URLs for accounts with case permissions.

5. Third-Party Provision and Outsourced Processing

The Company does not sell or provide personal information to third parties without member consent. During lawyer matching, only the summary the member chose to disclose is shown to applying lawyers; full case records become viewable only after the member selects a lawyer.

Outsourced processing: cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services — servers, database, file storage) and AI processing (Anthropic — within the scope described in Section 3).

6. Rights of Data Subjects

Members may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information, via the contact below or in-service features.

7. Security Measures

One-way password encryption, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, mandatory two-factor authentication for administrators and lawyers, HttpOnly session cookies, per-case access control with audit logs, TLS encryption in transit, and private storage with server-side encryption and versioning.
